The walls of the fortress built by Vauban, which earned it the epithet of the Gibraltar of the North, rival the amazing aesthetics of the varied building styles.
Currency: Euro (€). On January 01, 2002 the euro became the sole currency for everyday transactions within the member countries of the EU.
